i have an 88 key piano. I really want to learn how to play this song before my school talent show comes up. I sang this song for my friends and they think i did amazing. but i recently found out that all the songs must be played by the performer on a piano or another instrument . Please help!

so i wanted to start a hobby, learning how to play the piano and knowing the keys, sheet music. any one got suggestions on free tutorials?

Basically is there a clear translation? if i were to solfege my music such as it being do do do re fa mi re. how would this convert to piano notes?

I’d like to learn to play the piano, but I can only afford a keyboard with 49 keys right now.

My question is; if I learn to play on 49 keys, will I be able to play on an 88 keyed piano later on when I can afford one? How much more education will it take to adjust to the extra keys, and how will the music differ?

Please excuse me if I sound rather ignorant on the subject but, well — I suppose I am somewhat ignorant on the subject! But I think the piano is absolutely beautiful instrument, for which I hold a great deal of respect, and I would really love to learn to play within the best of my abilities.

I plan to learn to play the keyboard (piano) so I can write my music easier, and for Christmas my parents bought me a keyboard to start. It has 61 keys, but some people say I should start on one with 88 keys.

Can someone suggest which is best before I open it??
